it can go about 40-45 stock thats what i heard and i rode owend one so im not pullin this out of my ass i personaly think that sounds about right 40 to 45, unless u got some custome parts to make it go faster and make it lighter but if u really decked it out it could only go about 55 if ur damn lucky, the custome parts u put on the bike though r really not for ur top speed there really for ur accelration and other things like that but im not sayin they dont help wit ur top speed cause they do

really i would not but a ttr125 it would not be a good choice i would go with a yz125 or yz85 but u should prob go with the yz125 trust me u wont be satisfied with a 125cc 4 stroke. its not gonna get u ne where go with a 2 stroke or get a lot bigger 4 stroke. if u like the size of the ttr125 then check out a yz85 but have a look at a yz125 cuz that is definately the bike u should be on cuz a yz85 is kinda small but then again so is the ttr125

dude i mean no offence by this but my 13 year old sister is on a ttr 125 i hav been riding a crf150f but its too slow and heavy so i just bought a yz 125. o if u wanna stick with the 4 strokes check out the crf 230f or better yet the crf 250r or any other brands version of those bikes

im 15 5'9 145lbs u need to be on sumthing bigger than a ttr 125

if you are looking for a trail bike and it is your first bike get the ttr 230 or the crf 230 thats what i did.

My friend had a ttr 125 that he drowed but before that it just was slower than slow my brothers xr80r was faster the ttr is the worst bike that yamaha has put it's mane on. You should just buy a yz250 thats how you get it done
