Horsham Motor Cycle Club, is home to a MotoCross track, which hosts a round of the National Titles. It has a membership of over 220, and actively supports Enduro, and other branches of Motor Cycle sport and enjoyment.

Recently constructed clubrooms, and other infra structure, such as track watering system, 40 gate start grid, spectator area, car park and pit areas, make the club accessible for all members of a family.

eal Sports was founded in 1999 by Jeff Cooper of San Diego County. He grew up in Escondido and spent his childhood skating at the old McGill's Park next to Carlsbad Raceway. He also enjoyed BMX and surfing.

Since Jeff was old enough to tie his shoes, he was involved with his family's event marketing company, In Motion. They are known for many prestigious running events, including the famous San Diego Marathon. They held a wheelchair race ten years ago where the legendary David Bailey first raced. Jeff's mom arranged for Jeff to meet David Bailey, as she thought that when Jeff realized that motocross put this man in a wheelchair, Jeff would decide to give up on the sport. The plan backfired and David inspired Jeff to never give up on his dreams of motocross. After years of giving it his all, Jeff realized that he might not be able to make a living at racing.

We are a group of Pit Bike riders that have been fed up with not having a safe place to ride suited to pit bikes so we formed our own Pit Bike club and made it happen. The Salinas Ramblers Motorcycle Club is an American Motorcyclist Association and AMA District 36 chartered club based in Salinas, California. According to the club constitution, "The purpose of this club shall be: to promote the cause of private motocycling through greater public acceptance and understanding, and to enjoy all the rewards of gentlemanly comradeship."

The Salinas Ramblers Motorcycle Club was founded in 1934 by Larry Ketzel, a factory sponsored hill climber and owner of the Harley Davidson dealership in Salinas. Over the years, the club has promoted a variety of motorcycle activities, including Gypsy Tours, hill climbs, dirt track, scrambles and motocross races and enduro competition. In 1968, 1969 and 1971, the Club was recognized as the "Top Club in the Nation" by the American Motorcyclist Association (AMA).

The Fun Bit

"So, what's it like then?" The buzz of riding a trail bike along a green lane is addictive, ask anyone that's done it. It's nothing like riding on tarmac and at first it can be a little scary, but, maybe after a few riding tips from a more experienced rider, you soon pick up the fundamentals and start to enjoy it. And after two or three muddy lanes you'll hit the black top and be amazed at that thing called grip which you used to take for granted!

If you've never ridden off the tarmac much more than down a gravel drive then you'll find trail riding will open up a whole new biking experience for you. It's an excellent way to improve your road riding skills and is also a good entrance into the wider world of off-road motor sport, should you get a taste for the competition side of things. But a big part of the fun of trail riding is the social bit; it's very much a team effort and the old adage of "one for all and all for one" doesn't ring more true than when you're in the middle of the countryside and there's just a mean looking bull between you and the end of the lane! Or you've stopped at a pub for lunch and your mate's bike won't start. Or you've got half a wire fence wrapped around your bike's back wheel and you've forgotten your wire cutters. Then you soon find out who your friends are and, somehow, they all are! Mind you the bull incident did stretch friendships just a little bit

D36 LAO (legislative action officer) Bill Dart has been instrumental in improving communication with the U. S. Forest service, California State parks & County parks.
